TV deer hunters
They are nice to see monster bucks but have nothing to do with the avarage hunter, we can't go to the YO Ranch or some place like that and don't have ideal set ups like shown on TV.
I want shows of hunting in regular places like public lands or unposted private land like that owned by paper companys or something. Also I would like more how to shows. It seems like the deer I see are a lot spookier than the ones on TV, they wouldn't stand for all the noise, movement and talking those guys do.

Totally agree. I don't know anybody that has the resources to have personal guides and safari's. They don't show the kind of techniques that work for the semi- urban enviornment that a majority of our state is becoming. They just aren't that realistic from a po' boy's perspective.

In my area, out of state hunters are buying up land.......putting up sided and roofed pole buildings and then hunting over their own food plots....just like they see on TV.
Sorry excuses for hunters.

Re: TV deer hunters
I saw one guy pass up a 10 pointer that was 21 inches inside cause it was only 4years old and he said on TV it was the 15th buck he saw! it looks almost like shooting a cow.
Also I think that food plots look an awful lot like planted bait, thier only purpose is to draw deer to the hunter, if the rich guy can grow it, why can't the poor guy scatter it?.

Re: TV deer hunters
Deer hunting shows are on TV for one purpose. Advertising. I catch them every once in a while to either blow off some time or to get a laugh.
