Anyone know about the M76 Yugos?
I am seriously considering trading a CMP M1 Garand for one of these Yugos with US milled receivers. Does anyone have info or feedback on these regarding reliability, accuracy, etc. I have numerous 8mm bolt guns and want a semi in 8mm.

Milled receiver AK's are quite nice. What are your criteria?

Do a search on here and you'll see a build of an M76 I posted up.
The M76 is a beast of the AK platform with just about every component beefed up from typical AK specs.
I don't consider it a particular well suited long distant shooter past 800m in its orginal form. Yes, you should be able to hit man sized targets out to 800m with it with no problem, but I find it difficult to really dial in the gun for long distances due to the style of reticle on the factory scope. I own it just for the nostaliga factor so I'm not swapping out scopes, but I'd build or buy something else if I was looking for a serious long distance tack driver.
