SHOOTING CLAYS IN OR NEAR MONROE/CARBON COUNTIES?
Can anyone tell me where there is a public range that has facilities for shooting clays in or around Monroe/Carbon Counties? I would even be willing to drive a little bit further if the facilities were good.
I have done some looking but have not been very successful.

Try Lehigh Valley for starters:

There used to be a sporting clays somewhere around Kunkletown, but I can't find anything on line about them.

Shows Paradise Valley (old Mt Airy range) and Sunset Hill as being open. Also Pocono Slate Belt in Bangor.

Paradise closed several years ago unfortunately. They had a decent trap range. Too bad, that was my favorite place to go.

Arrdy,
Thanks for the link and suggestion. In my search I found a place called Spruce Hollow in Kunkletown but they are apparently out of business.
I would not spend a penny with those idiots at Sunset...aside from the fact that their range offers nothing I would be interested in. I mean shooting a rifle at 35 yards. wtf?

Try Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays. Website is: www.lvsclays.com
While I have not been there as yet myself, they do have billboards on the NE Extension. I have visited their website. It seems like a fairly impressive facility.
Costs seemed reasonable(?) for the facility and their various offerings.

Doc,
I checked their website and share your view that this looks like a nice place.
My old friend from England loves to shoot clays. That is all they are allowed to do there. So on her next visit we will be checking them out.
