Default Limited Edition Sig Sauer P226 Gadsden

I was on the Sig sight (dreaming of a new gun) and saw this. Thought it looked pretty cool. It is a P226 in 9mm only, DA/SA, 15+1. Pretty good little piece to put in your collection if you can afford it (MSRP: $1200).

I really like the wood grips with the engraving

They used to have on at French Creek Outfitters in Phoenixville...... haven't been there in a while, but I believe the price was around $1k......... It is a sharp looking gun and it is a Sig.

They look cool but it's kind of a collector gun so I don't think I would shoot it much.

I was gonna dis it but that does look kind of cool, might even look better all worn in.

Nice finish on the controls and they didn't over do the theme.

Sig's quality has been slipping bad lately. Seems instead of making plain guns that are built like freaking tanks they make flashy guns with cool names and shit parts. They're trying to be like kimber or something.

Here's just one thread of many on the subject.

The good thing is you can have that image laser ingraved on any gun you want.

Completely agree. I wasn't thinking of buying it, just thought it was a decent looking gun.

I've heard that as well, which bothers me because I am thinking of buying a new gun soon and wanted a Sig.

Amen to that. Nothing beats a stamped slide sig.

How is that emblem "put on" the grip? Is it etched or just surface paint?

And the logo on the top...it is just paint or etched?

I like the emblem (with snake) but. not so much the wording along the slide.
