Hunting property
Looking for some hunting property to buy in Pennsylvania and wanted to ask a few things.
Thankfully, I have an RV for temporary/portable housing until I can get a cabin built so I'm good in that respect but more importantly, How many acres would be considered the minimum. Most properties I have looked up were reasonably priced in the 10-15 acre ballpark.
Is this plenty of property for your average PA whitetail, turkey and bear?
Obviously more is better but again, what would be the min.?Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Re: Hunting property
that would be a tough one to call, for archery, and trapping i would be ok with that. rifles there is a lot to consider there, especially the surrounding area, schools, homes, companies. not sure what price per acre your looking at, personally i would look to spending at least $100k (assuming it is about the 5k per acre mark), for a good rifle hunting location. but thats just me.

Re: Hunting property
I have 12 acres but am still two stones throw from several homes. I don't think 10-15 is enough to safely hunt with a rifle. Although, we did have 10 deer run through the back yard last weekend.
It might be enough depending on what is around you.

Re: Hunting property
IMO much <100 acres your options become quite limited.
I suppose if you could find 30-50 that was perfectly situated among larger parcels that were also utilized for hunting, such as a game club, you could be on to something. Even with 100+ you can run out of options quickly.FUCK BIDEN

Re: Hunting property
its all about location and what borders on it. You can have a 5 acre parcel that is perfect for hunting if it borders the right land or you can have a 50 acre parcel that you can't even shoot on because of how its laid out
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Natural gas and oil are huge right now depending on what county you are looking at. Make sure you get the gas/oil/mineral rights with the purchase. A lot of land is cheap but the previous owner mantains right to drill or mine.
