Yeah, the thing I've found over the years is no matter how badly you treat or mistreat your SKS, it wont care and it'll keep going.
I never mistreated my Chinese, but my friend had one he wouldn't clean very well, he threw it in mud, dirt, sand, water, shot it in the rain, he had a back up one but the Russian one he put through all that torture never once let up, all he had to do was replace the stock.
He has since completely restored it to it's original state, but they are one mighty fine rifle, proud to own one even if it was made by communists.

If there's one thing in this world the Russians and communists are good at, it's weapons.

Thank you, I shot about 50 rounds today just to see how accurate it was and I was very impressed with it, we're heading back to the range on my next day off to do some more plinking and see how well she really does.

On a side note, I'm thinking about starting an SKS/AK47 collection, maybe add a PSL along the way just for long range plinking or hunting, I'm just overly fond of the 7.62x39 round, it really is perfect for everything.

    Lol

This might be the weirdest bump in a while.

On a side note, I wonder what Russian's are selling for now? I have considered letting mine go.
