I used to go through C+D, but I've since upgraded to Gary's Guns in Nazareth. Gary is a great older gentleman, and I've transfered quite a few guns through him. ALL transfers are only $20, and he's a gunsmith to boot.

I'd still like to know what the misunderstanding was with C&D. I've been in there a couple of times for ammo and targets, and they've always been friendly and personable.

+1 What misunderstandings came up with C&D? I am looking at shipping a pistol to upstate NY soon and I was planing on using C&D. It would be great to know of any problems with them before hand.

Unless you belong to a club or something, they're almost all $25 with added $3 fee = $28

AF Boyer and Spaz's are the only two places I go to. Partly because Spaz's is right near where I live. Boyer because they simply have great service. There are some other local people I would go to but I cannot find and address. I only know of them by meeting them at local gun shows. the Sarco place in Easton is on my list now as well. That is simply because Chuck Lutz is their in house gunsmith now. Very nice guy. And Sarco has their business in order with streamlining the paper work process.

I also vote AF Boyer in Slatington. Great guys, excellent service, and they charge $24 for a transfer.
