    Default Carry

I am a PA resident and I have a valid PA license to carry. My question is this. I am traviling to AZ and I want to know in the states that don't have Reciprocity agreement with PA do I just keep firearm in a lock box along with ammo in a seperate container?

If you were to get your AZ permit before you go...you wouldn't have any states to worry about..unless you pass thru MD or IL.

Since Ohio is almost certainly on your route, you should be aware that they consider a gun "loaded" if there is a loaded magazine for it anywhere in the vehicle. I'd also check www.handgunlaw.us for "must inform officer" states.

So if just passing thru SC with gun in glove box no need?

I knew that about TX....but didn't want to confuse the issue...
