Default Another revolver in my stable

At the recent Lebanon show I couldn't resist this 'sentimental' buy. The first revolver I owned was an H&R (999 Sportsman), and seeing this 929 'Sidekick' brought back fond memories of my old 9-shot .22 revolver.
I had it at the range the next day, and it shot flawlessly. The vintage is 1976.
Since it's an inexpensive gun, I decided to liven up the color of the plastic grips from the dull factory black, to a wood tan (Krylon Fusion) Fun to shoot!

Oh yeah, here's my old 999. Wish I could find one of these again!

Your lucky day... One just popped up for sale on this board. Looks clean. For the record, I have no relation to the seller whatsoever.

WOW! That Sportsman is beautiful, and I'd LOVE to have it. It looks new! Thanks for helping guys, but I didn't realize the prices that model is getting nowadays. I think I'll just keep an eye out for one that's not as pristine, as I intend to shoot it regularly.
The 929 is a cheaper model, and I only gave $145.00 for it, so it wasn't too bad for an inexpensive .22 handgun.
