Hey,
I am new on the forum and had a couple of questions, I am ex-ranger/sniper and private contractor with the US Army and TC, I am looking for a job in PA within law enforcement, private protection, bounty enforcement, ect... Any Idea's.
I have a NY Concealed Pistol Permit. How would I transfer that to PA..
Also what are the law on AR15 / AR10 is there a band like, NY PRE BAND?

Welcome, thanks for serving... the search function works fairly well and doing research will answer 99% of your questions.
A whole section is devoted to Pa Firearm laws..known as the Uniform Firearms Act..UFA.

Re: NY to PA
There are no transfers of gun licenses. ...you just apply for a LTCF at the Sheriff of the county in which you reside. Renewals are the same process.
There are no asinine "assault weapons" laws in PA.
If you're looking to work as a police officer or armed guard/P.I. - you will need to get certified via PA specific classes.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515
