How about those California gun laws and gun free zones, eh? I bet the media are so lazy they'll recycle the story for days simply to avoid having to do more work and capitalize on the sensationalism.

According to school authorities one of the students dropped a gun that he was carrying and it discharged injuring two other students.

I am horrible at linking the stories

    .
For some reason when I hear the word "shooting" used as a noun, I don't think of an ACCIDENTAL discharge! I'm sure this will be sensationalized to its absolute maximum potential. Dumbass kid. Why now?

I hope and pray the injuries were not life-threatening.

    THE GUN DID IT!!!!

(not the student who broke several laws by bringing in a gun)

    It's one of two things

    A) Stole the gun from a parent
    B) Gangbanger who had it illegally

Supposedly it was in his bag, he dropped his bag and the gun went off, I don't know if it was one shot that went through 2 people or 2 shots.

The best comments are from the parents 'Its a good school', 'I don't know why he would have a gun'...

then the REAL parents chime in 'gangs are a major problem', 'We've been trying to get Jr out of this school for years'... etc
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.
