Default Yes, another IWB holster thread...

I searched, but couldn't find any specific compiled list of some ideas for what I'm looking for. sooo here it is.

I'm a CC guy... the deeper the better. So recently I got a S&W 642, and I'm looking into IWB holsters. I'd ultimately like to wear it in my lower back, but I guess as long as it's comfortable, it's ok. I just normally don't have much extra room in my pants, and I don't want it to be pressing in against my hip bone making it uncomfortable.

I checked into the Bianchi's already, but I'm looking for more ideas to consider. Something soft, sturdy, and has a clip to secure it to the pants.

    Thanks!

I have a cheap Uncle Mikes that I use for my SP101 and used for my P239. Its comfortable and I never had problem with it coming out with the pistol. But I'm a iwb or front pocket guy.

I would, but I don't have the time, knowledge, or materials to do it.

Just so you know...I got the knowledge from watching one set of 3 videos on youtube, which are posted in my thread. Every time I make one I get better. As for not having the time...that I understand.

Yea, I could probably get if I tried... which I wouldn't mind doing, I just don't have the time, not to mention I already have way too many other hobbies, so I'd rather pay someone else to do the work so I can just walk in and out of a store with it. It is cool though if you can do your own... Can save on money, and you can take pride in it being made by you.

But the realm of holsters is so vast, I have no idea where to begin. There's so many out there.. That's why I wondered if anyone had any ideas specifically towards the J-frame revolvers... see if anyone had particular preferences for a small revolver concealment.

Lots of good holsters out there right now, take a look at the FIST K6 ultra thin kydex IWB holster. Several different variations for the attachments, from loops to clips, etc....

I have one for a J Frame that has been re-shaped to fit my Ruger LCR. I also have one for my Glock 19. My wife has been using one for the last 4 years as her EDC holster for her Glock 26.

Again, this is just one of many good holsters on the market right now.

    Good luck with your search.
