Default UPDATE!!! 2A dinner outings for PAFOA members in Cranberry March 5th Dynasty Buffet

Are there ever any OC dinner party's at restaurants in the PGH area??? I think it would be awesome to get to meet some fellow 2a enthusiasts and show your support of 2A together. All while eating some good food. CC OC and no firearm come as you like please.

It's funny you mention this, as I had been thinking it would be cool to meet up with some people again.

I've been to a few dining get-togethers, but none were specifically "OC dinners".
I believe there were one or two that were OC, but I'm not certain.

If you're planning such an event, I wish you luck in locating a venue that will welcome you. When I organized a "meet and eat", it was an issue, and I wasn't specifically looking to do an "OC dinner" - I just wanted to clarify with management that there would be no "issues" should anyone attending decide to carry in such a manner.

I understand the whole "SCREW THEM! I don't ask permission ahead of time!" line of thought, but while that's fine on an individual level, it doesn't work so well when people are traveling for miles, changing schedules, and looking forward to a good time, to be told, "Sorry, we have to find someplace else to eat" when they arrive.

No I would much prefer making it known ahead of time that a group of men and women would be coming in visibly armed...however it would not be necessary to OC or carry at all to attend. The venue is the hard part just trying to measure the level of interest maybe this should be moved to the pgh region area. I wasn't sure which to put it under so I chose this one. I think it would be great if we can find a venue though. Anybody a restaurant manager on here???

Dynasty International Buffet in Cranberry has been very welcoming the last few times there have been dinners there where people show up visably armed.

As others on this forum have discovered, having the eatery management being OK with OC doesn't mean the other guests of the eatery will put up with it.

I wondered how long it would take for that.
