I was talking to my friend this morning about how the douche in Arizona used a glock 33 round mag and how people are talking about banning them now.

He said, "Well I don't think they should be banned, but I do think that 33 rounds is excessive."

I said, "Really? I have a loaded 33 round mag in my car!"

He responded, "You live in a fantasy world if you think you need that."

I said, "You live in a fantasy world if you think the police will protect you. If you were in Philly and some thugs started spraying your car with bullets, would you be happy with your standard 15 round mag in your gun, or would you want more ammo? You're right that I probably wont ever need it. But I also probably wont ever need my fire extinguisher, and there's a slim chance that I'll need my seatbelt. Doesn't mean I should give up all my safety gear because the statistics say I won't ever use it."

Just thought I'd share this here and see what you guys think. I run into this kind of crap all the time.

"Why do you have all those MRE's?"
"Do you really think you need to bring a gun to a family party?"
"Do you really need that much ammo?"

I think a 33rd magazine in a pistol is absurd....but I've been known to carry three concealed handguns on my person if I think the situation warrants it. Who's crazier, you or me? It's all a matter of personal preference.

The next time you're in an arcade, pinned down by Mortal Combat machine by cover fire from the Yakuza, would you be happy with just a lousy 15 round magazine?

Have you ever shot a Glock with a 33 round mag? Its a frickin blast! It handles just as well (maybe even a little better) as a standard mag but lets you hit the bang switch for twice as long! Whats not to love? Theres nothing quite like completely shredding your paper target without doing a single mag change.

As for carrying 3 pistols at once, I say the more the merrier!

Soon I am going to have about 3 of these in my posession, and they will all be loaded....Am I going to carry them concealed? Probably not. Are they going to be in my truck or car in a readily accessible spot from the front two seats? HELL YES.

Well... let me start off by saying that the 2nd Amendment protects your right to keep and bear arms. If you want to carry a 30 round pistol magazine, God Bless and exercise your right my friend. For me, a total of 15 rounds of 9mm on my person is all I need. One mag in the pistol, one spare.
