Trident Concealment Holsters - Nice Kydex! Brief Review
Hey folks, just thought I'd share my thoughts on a new holster that I purchased recently. Trident Concealment Holsters are available at GunDealerOnline (at the retail store, in Lancaster, PA). www.gundealeronline.com
I own a few Raven holsters, and like them, so I knew I liked the concept, and was open to trying out new holster manufacturers. Couple things I like about Trident:
-GDO stocks a bunch of holsters, in the store, for Glocks, Sigs, M&P's, etc.
-I met the guy who makes them, and he seems like a great guy (Ex SEAL)
-I wanted something other than black, so I ordered the Carbon Fiber
-He made the belt loops slightly smaller than normal for me, at my request
-Ability to do Weapon Mounted Light holsters
-Quick turnaround on custom orders (2 weeks or so)
-Great workmanship, well finished, nice looking holster.
-Best part of it all?.... about $50 bucks. No, that is not a misprint, around $50 - I forget exactly how much it was, either $46, or $54, I can't recall, but it's right in that neighborhood.
A few things I'm not as keen on:
-They use slightly thinner Kydex than RCS does, I think. It remains to be seen how these hold up under hard use. The thinner kydex does make a nicer holster, but I'm concerned about cracking.
-They've changed it to screws now, but when I got mine, the belt loops were riveted in place, so no modularity, or adjustability. I would prefer the holster ride about 1/2" higher, and if the belt loops were screwed on, I could make that change.
I have no vested interest in this company, just a fan of the shop, and wanting to share a good source to the community at pafoa.

Re: Trident Concealment Holsters - Nice Kydex! Brief Review
I just picked up the same holster from Gun Dealer Online for my 1911. I'll be sure to post some pictures but it's right in line with the NTAC I have for my Glock 19 which I paid a lot more money for.

Looks just like the ones that Atomic Dog(PAOFA member) makes. His belt loops are adjustable as well. Support our members, buy local.
Otherwise it's a good looking holster.

Didn't mean to step on anyone's toes. I also couldn't find anything about Trident holsters online, so if you don't live on the east side of the state (gundealeronline does not have them on their website) would be kinda tough to get one.
