    Default Gun Belts

I'm looking for a decent gun belt in the $50~ price range.

Crossbreeds belts are $60 before shipping but I'm not trying to wait like 3-4 weeks.

But I was wondering if anyone has found a decent belt for around what I'm looking for?

I like the 5.11 tactical belts. I have two leather ones that work great for me. Cost is around $30-40 and they are available at most uniform supply stores and also online.

I just picked up a $30 5.11 Tactical belt from 911 Safety Equipment in Norristown. The belt has a core so there's little to no flex and is covered in leather. Only worn it for a day or two, but so far so good.

This is good information for me, as I wear out belts really quickly. I will stop and check on one of these 5.11s next week to see if I like em. I am sick of spending $20 on belts that only last two months.

...both right at $50. I know nothing about either product.

I own 2 of them, 1.5" and 1.75" (5.11 Tactical that is). I recommend against the 1.75". Tougher to find holsters and belt loops that will accommodate this width.

I have been wearing the 1.5" for almost a year now, and it is a long way from wearing out.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

While the 5.11 is not the BEST leather belt out there, it is a great value for the money. I have one and have been wearing it daily for several months now with no problems. It simply refuses to develop that rear belt loop curve that cheap belts develop so quickly.
