I think I spotted an air marshall (pic inside)

I took this picture awhile ago, but haven't had a chance to post it till now. I suspected this guy was an air marshall when his pant leg rode up and revealed an ankle holster. Then I noticed that he had a bulge in his left pocket the approximate size and shape of a pistol mag. He was in the third row from the back and seemed to know the flight attendant. When he got off the plane, the flight attendant said to him "I'll see you around!" What do you guys think, am I crazy or am I right? And what kind of gun do you think he has? I'm thinking a Glock 26.

Could be a calf compression cuff. For diabetics to stop embolisms from atmospheric pressure.

Maybe, but what about the pistol mag bulge? And how he seemed to know the flight attendant? And the fact that he was all the way in the back? Seems like too many coincidences. But I could be wrong. Anyway I didn't say anything to the guy because I thought it would be inappropriate, and could get him in trouble.

Possible, but I would think the pistol would be more easily accessible to the marshal. Also, I've been told they generally sit in the extreme back (i.e the very last seat), even sitting in the second row from the back leaves them vulnerable...but still nice job on the observation.

After you noticed you should have alerted the flight attendant that you believe that a person on the plane has a gun and then pointed him out. That way after the plane got diverted to the nearest airport he would have had to reveal that he was an air marshall and that no one was in danger. That or they would have tackled him and taken him off the plane in handcuffs. Either way it would be worth watching.

I'm assuming you're joking, but don't you think the flight attendants would know if there was an air marshall, and which seat he was in?
