Talking Rem 700 SPS Varmint in .223

Bought this last Feburary (2010) and waited almost an enitre year to shoot it, been busy. Best so far was a 3 round/.50" group at 100 yards (factory ammo). Looking to have it glass bedded and work up my own loads.

Sweet! That's a pretty crazy scope on there. I don't do long range shooting so I know very little about scopes but I imagine it was pretty expensive. What kind of magnification is it? Love the rifle.

Huh. Looks like someone put the bolt in the wrong way. I have a gunsmith that can fix that for you.

zzeiber, it's a left handed rifle and what you are seeing is a shadow at the bolt.
KDE870, the scope wasn't expensive at all and I basically purchased as a temp until I find a more suitable one. It's a BSA Illuminated Mil Dot - 6x24. I was trying to decide on two different scopes and couldn't but I wanted to shoot the rifle in the worse way so I bought a cheap scope so I guess I won't be expecting great things with it either.
