The only other thing I'd like to see, given this is a "tactical" shotgun, is a threaded barrel. You thinking choking, a BIG can, or do you just want a pig-sticker on the end?
    Red above - mine.

And how about grafting a 16-18" RFB along side of this? 3, switch-electable rounds good for 1 to 600m in a very compact package. I know, heavy as hell, but it looks like it could be made to work. Some of the weight could possibly be mitigated by sharing common stocking, receiver walls, grips ...

OK, lets hear the bad news. How much?

I have a Saiga-12, and this wouldn't replace it IMHO, as the Saiga is:

    - semiauto, whereas the KSG is a pump, and
    - magazine fed, whereas the KSG is tube fed

I would still consider the Saiga-12 to be superior in a CQB situation, but for a big punch in a small package where the above is not as much a concern for the user, the KSG is a damn nice solution.

As with my Saiga-12, I'm thinking either a:

    Chaos Warthog flash suppressor/brake:
    http://www.chaosus.com/PDGImages/WARTHOG_BRAKE.jpg

    OR

    Red Jacket Firearms suppressor:
    http://www.redjacketfirearms.com/sup...ppressors.html

The suppressor is HUGE and makes a Saiga a bit unwieldy, but attached to a KSG its OAL wouldn't be much more than a standard shotgun.

This would a cool idea, but I have to wonder if that would wander into AOW territory.

If you take a look at some of the pics below, and link to the hi-res versions, I'd wager a bet that spent shells bottom eject in-between the pistol grip and the butt of the stock.

Oleg Volk does a lot of the photography for Kel-Tec's ads; here's his pics of the KSG (with link or reference):

Also, looking at the image directly above, wouldn't it have been "fun" if they had designed the mag tube caps to be recessed, giving the appearance of THREE barrels?!!!
Just to freak out the antis a little bit more.

    Couple of points:
    1. The KelTec Corp certainly is am innovative company.
    2. Oleg Volks site is always worth visiting.
    3. That is one very cool shot gun, I don't need it but am planning on getting it anyway.

Yea, doing a bullpup w/ DBM's would be great! A semi-auto version would be even better, but probably get DD/AOWed by ATF decree.

In any case, it looks like it will better my M590A1 setup ...

You S12 guys really seem to like pointy things on the end of your barrels.

That is like adding a whole second barrel onto the end.

Would be worth the stamp .

Looks great, but does it work? Will Kel-Tec be able to produce it? (PMR-30 anyone)

I think it might be great, yet I will wait a few years until the bugs are worked out.

I haven't bought a shotgun yet for my rifle/pistol/shotgun combo, so as long as its reasonably priced I'll definitely be getting one.
