Default PA permits now honored by IA

IA's new shall-issue/reciprocity law takes effect now. All state permits are honored in IA, except if you're an IA resident(you need an IA permit,of course).
WI would probably be next. I think the remaining holdouts will have to be forced by the courts to issue.

I read about this a few weeks ago.

WI? What's changing with them? They don't allow carry at all. At least not concealed carry. Never looked into the details.

There was a court case in WI over the concealed carry ban. The State lost, and the ban was declared unconstitutional. Heller and McDonald are paying off! Information can be found here (October, 2010 -- WI County Court), here (December 2010 -- WI Circuit Court), and here (the text of the Circuit Court's decision).

WI allows unlicensed open carry. They would have passed shall-issue a few years ago but the governor vetoed. The new governor won't veto a shall-issue bill, and the legislature has become more gun friendly in the last election. Rumors are they are trying for AZ style constituional carry.

I wish MD would do it but I don't think that will ever happen. It makes it hard for me since I live right on the PA/MD state line.

Unfortunatley, Maryland along with NY, Mass., and NJ will be at the end of the list. But they will be assimilated!!

WOW! Love disinformation. I'm a big fan of #7, my letter had that in it. If I was psychic, I wouldn't be going to work today.
