There is something about old firearms that is just appealing AND cool.

First shot out of my S&W 4th model .32 circa 1898 or 1899 from the most recent research on S/N. It is an impressive round in retrospect of technology of that time. More impressive that a gun of this age has withstood the test of time and is still tight and functioning on all original machining.

I wish it could tell stories. It would be like hearing grand pop ramble on about odds and ends... So much history.

Now that I have most of the modern guns I wanted, I am finding a love for historical and antique guns.

I don't know if this is a thread already started elsewhere.. But, post pics of some of the relics in your collections and a brief story if one is known about it.
