Default Need a good spot for Coyote and Groundhog

I'm not necessarily a meat hunter because to me, nothing tastes better than beef and poultry however, I do like to varmint hunt. I've never hunted Coyote but would love to try it. Does anyone have an area they'd like to recomend for either Groundhog or Coyote in the Adams-York area?

Do you have a place that you hunt deer? Start there. Just cause you don't see them don't mean they're not there. I've hunted in Northern Dauphin county since 88' and never seen or heard one until about 5 yrs ago while archery hunting. After that I tried calling for them to see if I could catch a glimps of one and I did and still do. Most people think because they've never seen one while hunting that it means they're not around, wrong. But, if you don't mind driving 30 hrs. for some real good coyote and fox action, go to South Dakota.

A lot of people don't care for venison but enjoy hunting deer. You can always give the meat to friends, or there are many butcher shops in PA that will accept a deer and then donate the meat to needy folks.

I guess someone just needs to understand what I typed and not assume i hunt anything other than varmints, as stated in my post.

Just a hunch but with your rather dismissive attitude towards the previous posters advice I doubt you will find any advice at all.

But maybe I assumed wrong so try the state game lands

18mm, you seem a bit dense ah? What the man meant in his post is that any where you find Deer you will find Coyotes- as simple as that, he didnt say that you should go hunt deer.

What do you think Coyotes eat? Deer fawn and injured deer is a big part of their diet, Get the idea now?

I would say ask around to see where there's a problem with them. Lots of farmers want them dead and could probably tell you exactly where and when they are.

For once I am siding with the new guy (OP).

He basically said in his op that he does not hunt deer. The first answer he gets on here is "Where do you hunt Deer?"

And one of the next answers is that he should hunt deer.

I wish people would read and understand posts before they answered them.

Oh yeah, how about this answer... Ask around.
That's what he is trying to do here.

    Sheeeesh!

    Oh,
    sorry op
can't help you on a location where you might find a place to hunt vermin.
but i can offer you this advice
you will find them where they are.
you can shoot them where they live.
    deer is good food.
maybe if you post the question in a forum someone could lead you in the right direction.
    just tryin to help
