    Default Look what I found under mother in laws mattress








    So my girls mom in at Florida house. We washed the sheets and as we were putting the bottom sheet on, I had to lift the mattress to fit the corners on. I decided to look under just to be a snoop. There it was.


    Its a Winschester model 94. Shotts .30.30. Can somebody give me any info on it. Is at worth anything? It looks like its never been shot. Thanks.

    Nah I am really not too sure, that is either one of the sought after ones or just another 30-30, but either way it is a nice rifle. Probably worth in the range of 400-500 bucks or so if it is as clean as it looks and actually never fired.

    I would do some more searching on it though, just to make sure you don't have a small fortune lying under the mattress.

    How do I find out if it could be worth a lot. What do I look for?

    Well I would start by googling it and searching for that exact same rifle for starters. Check gunbroker.com and see what they are going for etc. etc.

    The brief search I just did with the limited info on the rifle I had told me they are going for between 400 and 750-800. 400 being used in good condition, and 750-800 being one of the supposedly rare model 94AEs.
