    Default Beretta PX4 subcompact

just got a Beretta PX4 subcompact in 9mm as an alternative to my S&W 442 .38 snubby for CCW; I haven't had the chance to shoot it yet; just wondering what I can expect for recoil, accuracy, ergonomics, etc; thanks

I enjoy shooting mine. A bit chunky, but fit and feel is good. My problem has been accuracy - way off. I'm going to replace the sights with some good ones and see what happens. Have had no issues with the gun so far ! Enjoy.

I bought one for my wife and the only thing I'm going to change is the sights. Beretta makes a low profile adjustable sight kit for $54.00 that I'll be buying soon. Very well made gun.

I like mine. I have had it for a year & 6 months. Runs great and I found it to be accurate after I learned to shoot it. I surmise that it amplifies bad shooting habits and once I became better with the PX4 Sc I was that much better with other guns. the sites are OK but I do want to get a real set of night sights

Do you have a link to those sights - most I have been looking at are $90+. I've tried everything to dial it in with the pistol but no luck - want to replace them. Tx.

Does this mean they won't fit on the Sub Compact, or was this an inadvertant omission on their part?

Have had mine for over a year now - never any problems, but as others have said, I struggled greatly with accuracy. Tried new sites, even got mad once and knocked out the sites and convinced myself I'd use it as a no site, snag free gun - then I came back to my senses. Had my gunsmith put the original sites back on, and site them in for me. Has been good ever since. As mentioned also, a bit chunky, but feels good in the hand, that finger indent rest is a nice touch, and most importantly, no fte, ftf's, etc. of any kind - very reliable. Good luck and enjoy!
