    Default Lookit what followed me home from the KOP Gun Show

    Took a while to take the pics and post them.

    Top: S&W 940 1.75 inch barrel - 9mm Jframe
    Bottom: S&W 624 4 inch ported barrel - .44 special,





    Hi Point 995 9mm carbine. $169 OTD

    They were my holiday present to myself. I was a good boy this year.

    The barrels look blackened because of the lighting rather than anything physical with the revolvers. Old and cheap camera mounted on an old and rickety tripod with backlight provided by old and rickety desk lamp. I think I'll add some better lighting before trying to use the pic setup for any Gunbroker pics. I believe that the sight is stepped up to raise things above the porting.

    Nah. It's bright and shiny. If it were as fouled as the lighting makes it seem, I wouldn't have taken the picture at all before cleaning it. I'm still experimenting with taking gun photos and will get the lighting right for that setup eventually.
