Default Vector 51 pistol to sbr form1 and???

What else is needed to make a vector51 pistol into a sbr besides the form 1?
Compliance with the assault rifle quandry? us made parts, ect? Thanks to all of those here in the 'brain trust'!

the consensus on this over at HKPro right now (i think) is that a SBR must be 922 compliant. since this is a weapon that the BATF may take a look at, i would spend the couple of bucks it would take to get the required parts count.

receiver should already be US-made. stock, flash hider, and handguard would be easy. if you are going to keep it semi PTR sells a trigger pack for the 91 that has 5 compliance parts. you should check into where your trunion and barrel came from. this keeps you away from having to mess with your magazines. i think you need 7 US parts to be compliant on a 90-series design.

i am not a lawyer, and i did not spend the night in a Holiday Inn Express. I'd ask "retrodog" on HKPro, if i were you.

i think oyu also need to swap the buffer into the stock. they have been discussing this point on HKPro with the PTR PDW's and saying the full-size stock doesn't drop in, the buffer is a different length. i don't know th difference between the Vector and PTR designs (i don't own either)

either way you should float these questions on HKPro, they can give better and more informed answers than i can.

    just my humble opinion

At one time 922(r) didn't apply to NFA guns, but as of 2009 they do.

That's probably thanks to all of the "letter writers" that kept bombarding the ATF with questions related to the 922r and NFA.
