YHM QD for an AK...
I just got the YHM QD mount for my AK. My question is it doesn't have a notch in in for the plunger like a standard AK break does, should I locktite it? I thought about grinding a notch in it but was gonna see what others have done. My game plan is to call YHM next week and ask what they suggest.

Re: YHM QD for an AK...
I talked with YHM yesterday they said not to use locktite and to snug it down but don't overtighten it cause you can twist the barrel.
I'm probably going to notch it because when I snug it down the thread on the suppressor it unthreads the break.“It's not a gun control problem; it's a cultural control problem.” Bob Barr

You really should have the muzzle and threading checked for concentricity before you put the suppressor on, sometimes the factory threading on AKs are quite a bit off.
