Passing is 90 (45 and 45 for each half).
Congrats. Could you expound on the course of fire - target, distance, timing, drawing action, etc?

    Thanks

This is the course of fire:

    https://www.pccd.pa.gov/training/Doc...0of%20Fire.pdf

Though since they've run out of money, it isn't the normal 20 hours of class and shooting, it is a 5hr show up, take the test and shoot. The course has been modifed a bit (no barricades, and instead of dummy rounds, we dry fire to simulate FTF, tap rack and evaluate before shooting).

Given that, I'm going to try and start taking shooting classes in addition to this and normal range time.

Congrats! If you're like me, that one point down will be motivation to practice next year.

Our qualifier isn't meant to demonstrate great marksmanship skills, it just weeds out the mutants. But a 119 is pretty good shooting.

So, I've been an elected Constable for about a year. So far I've witnessed:

    - LEOSA issues. A Constable from Allentown was pinched by the Essex County Sheriff's Office for carrying a firearm and pled guilty.
-a lot of Constables don't make a lot of money. It's a very thankless job
-there's a massive amount of conflicting information and opinions on the Office of Constable and a lot of purse swinging over it. I've seen a lot of Constables bicker online about various things one can/cannot do (of course, certain folks are frequent fliers in this purse swinging)

    On the upside:

-I met with a local group of Constables and everyone in Office so far has been supportive
-there are plenty of opportunities for a Constable to do good deeds in their community.
    -I don't regret it

is this the same guy here?

    https://www.mcall.com/news/local/all...2ay-story.html

sounds like they are saying he was not a PA resident and thus ineligible for being a constable. It is a bit of a murkey subject since there has not been a good LEOSA case yet, the NY one they didnt even rule on the merits of a constable falling under LEOSA, but argued that he was there for LE business
