    Default Blued, worn, brushed, stained, cold, And serrated. Yup a 1911.

    Had to share what a 1911 forum member sent me out of the goodness of his own heart. I had asked for a set of mangled grips to mess around with for dimensions and these are what a gentlemen sent me! 09 Heritage cocobolo take offs! They bring my Charles Daly to another class.



    Naturally I'll be sending him a cookie platter and my first born red headed child.

    I have a lot of guns but nothing hurts more than NOT having a 1911. I determined that I will put back the money this year and let my wife get me one for our next anniversary.
