Re: Looking for, PSL Dragunov clone
They say Surplus City in Feasterville-Trevose usually has them in stock.

Re: Looking for, PSL Dragunov clone
If I recall correctly, they're about $600 at Surplus City. Why not buy a 21" Saiga in .308 and add a scope? You can build it up to something much better as funds permit.

Re: Looking for, PSL Dragunov clone
Centerfire Systems has them listed in their online catalog for $450 (plus shipping and FFL fees, of course) without the usual Soviet-bloc scope. Might be a good option if you plan to upgrade the optics right away.

Re: Looking for, PSL Dragunov clone
Surplus City had about 5 of them as of last Thursday. $575ish w/scope IIRC. Nice blond wood.
It's hard to judge accuracy based on the claims of internet folk but I've heard a lot of people who bought .308 Saigas as a "Saigunov" type rifle express disappointment at the accuracy.
PSLs tend to favor a few types of ammo (which type varies rifle to rifle) and I've seen claims of anywhere from 1-3moa.

Re: Looking for, PSL Dragunov clone
PSL's are ammo picky but work great. Plus 54R is HELLA cheap compared to .308. Which is why I bought one instead of the Saiga .308.
If they made a Saiga in 54R I would have probably bought that instead. The fact they don't is a little perplexing actually.
But I guess they make SVD's still there. So why the hell bother with the 54R Saiga when you could just pick up a real Dragunov off the rack. I guess that's probably why.

Gettysburg Trading Post had what looked like a Draganov in stock, I assume it's what you were looking for.
