    Default Best 9mm defensive round

I'm now the proud owner of a Glock 19 Gen 3, my first ever Glock and am looking for advice. This will be a daily concealed carry piece and although I hope to never have to use it, what is the best defensive round?

    Thanks

If you use the search feature here you will have weeks of reading to do on the subject.

Having said that , i have found that all the top naME BRANDS ARE PRETTY MUCH EQUAL PERFORMANCE WISE, THOSE WOULD BE wINCHESTER rANGER, sPEER gOLD dOT ,rEMington Golden Saber, Federal 9BPLE, Hydra shock .

I have found the Speer Gold Dot 124 grn to be the most consistent in all m,y 9's so that is what i stocked up on.

You will need to try a few different Brands and weight to see whaT your GUN LIKES , all guns are different.

    Hey Bux!

Mrnyman gave you good advice - the majority of debate over "carry ammo" comes down to personal opinions most of the time.

I personally like Cor-Bon, and Hornandy.

I carry Double Tap in most of my carry guns.

These loads are low flash. They are a middleweight load that combines good penetration with near perfect expansion. A great CCW loading.

    Caliber : 9mm+P

Bullet : Brass Jacketed JHP Made by Remington

    Ballistics : 124gr @ 1310fps / 473ft. lbs. from a G17.
    124 @ 1295fps / 462 ft. lbs. from a G19

There are lots of good rounds out there. The Double Tap stuff is nice and spicy.
