Carry Question

I am a new member to this board as well as a new LTC. I just wanted to make sure I understand what I have been reading from others members.

1. It is ok to conceal carry in Philly without the permission of the COP.
2. I can conceal carry in all stores considered private property unless I am asked to leave or place the weapon in my vehicle then return to the store.

If there are any discrepancies with these statements please let me know.

COP = Chief of Police?

Permits issued in the rest of PA are all valid in Philly. Same as Philly permits are valid in the rest of the state.

hey ulooze! Not to entirely hijack the thread, but I just moved to Bristol recently, and seeing as we're practically neighbors under the same township, if you'd ever like to go shooting sometime let me know! Have you been to Ready Aim Fire before? It's not far from me. The management there seems like a good bunch, think I'll be getting a membership there soon as my cash flow settles back to normal from the move.
