    Default Magpul

I just bought a Magpul PRS (black) for my RRA Varmint. I was really surprised by how easy it was to install.

The length and the cheek area are adjustable.

I haven't been out with it yet. I usually shoot it at the 200 yard range.

I was looking at that stock for my next AR I want to build, let me know how it feels and how consistent of a cheek weld you get with it after you get it out to the range.

I just recently baught an ACE SOCOM stock for my M16 and I love that thing. It's solid as a rock.

The cheek weld is adjustable but whether it goes high enough- we'll see.

It also has a hidden rail underneath in case you want to use a mini-pod on it.

Does it give a good cheek weld for an EOP platform???

Don't know yet. I haven't shot it since I installed it. In fact, I haven't even shouldered it either.

Too much going on, got to slow down I guess.

I have a PRS stock on my DPMS LR...great stock....I see that Brownell's is offering the stocks for the AR15...with my discount it comes to $210...pretty cheap...I will probably buy one for one of my other ARs

    Bummer, I paid more.

    That's a very good price!

Well, when they first came out they were around $250. You always pay more when something new comes out...especially because of the fact that Magpul couldn't keep up with demand. I see that Magpul has another stock coming out too...looks pretty kewl as well...and I am sure it functions just as well.

Yeah, as production increases it gets cheaper. I'm glad that I got it when I did.

When I got my PRS, Brownells didn't have it then. Only a few places carried it. It wasn't that much more than what you paid, I paid $230 plus shipping.

Of all the stocks offered by Magpul, I like the PRS the best.

My PRS stock is on my DPMS...I plan on changing out the forend, so it will be flat. I figured that it will be better on the bench...even though I would use my DPMS in the field as well.
