.38 Bankers Special Value
I have a Colt .38 bankers special. I have done a bit of research on the web to find the value of the gun however I have not had much success. Every web site i view has gun value broken down by SN. All the Serial numbers listed are six digits. The SN on my gun is only 5 digits. 85xxx is stamped on the frame and 83xxx is stamped on the cylinder arm. If any one has any insight I would appreciate it. Thanks for the help.

I know very little about Colt revolvers. However, I have seen them bid on gunbroker from 500-2500 USD. This depends upon condition and other factors. It looks like you are a peculiar revolver that may be interesting to a collector.
