Beaver County Sheriff to sign off?
So I've been told countless times that if I want to manufacture an SBR I should get the county Sheriff to sign off on me. My question is who in specific should I ask for? Should I ask for George J. David, or just any of the local deputys? Thanks

Re: Beaver County Sheriff to sign off?
The Sheriff himself, as the Chief Law Enforcement Officer, is who you need. Not one of his deputies. The only time one of his subordinates(Undersheriff) can sign is when they are Acting Sheriff due to the sheriff's incapacitation.
If you live in a municipality with a Chief of Police, he or she could sign for you too.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515, SteveWag

Re: Beaver County Sheriff to sign off?
When I did my SBR build I just went to my local police chief....heck of a lot easier getting an audience where you live than trying to get one with the Sheriff.

Save a bunch of headache and do a trust or LLC, no signatures, no fingerprints, no photos, No one but you and the BATFE know anything.

Re: Beaver County Sheriff to sign off?
Do you guys have any trust lawyers you would advise? I'm not even sure how to begin to put up a trust.
