While you could probably debate what the cop did, I think what this shows is how the cops story can be some much different from reality and everyone is going to beleive them over you.

if you don't sign the ticket, you go to jail thats a fact... did the guy need tazed? Maybe not at that exact moment, but noone can say for sure because we don't know what would have happened when the trooper went hands on. The man started to walk away from the officer and at that point the trooper ended the situation. It could have gone worse, it could have ended much better we will never know.
