best way to finish/paint 1911 frame?
SO i'm picking up a sweet, recently stippled allow frame for a 1911. I think it's a double star alloy, and it will have some stainless parts (hammer, trigger, internals) going into it.
I'm wondering what the best way to finish the frame would be. It will have a black Wilson Combat 22 upper on it. I'm wondering if it's better to duracoat or cerakote or krylon or blue or media blast or whatever.
I don't have a sprayer, or a bead blaster, but I want a slick looking 1911. what do you recommend?
