Cheap Red/Green/Dot sight
So i'm looking for something relatively cheap as my Leapers red dot's lens shattered after using it with my AK too much - internally damaged at least.
I'm not a heavy shooter and I don't care honestly about brand name - just something that will hold it's zero, take recoil, and possibly have a blue dot option as well - anything to recommend?

I found these on another forum. Everyone seems to like them. Good reviews.
The primary arms micro dots.

If you're looking for something "over the counter", Cabelas has the Bushnell TRS 25. I have one mounted on my AK that I use for 3-gun and has served me very, very well. No blue dot option....but they were on sale for $79 a few weeks back. I found mine in the bargain cave for even less.

Check out the vortex strikefire..... High quality in a relatively low cost package!
Just make sue you get the high one if going on a AR-15 flattop receiver, or the like, the Low is too low for this usage.
Lots of write ups on AR-15.com

I have heard good things about Primary Arms also. They stand behind what they sell too. Im going to save my pennies and get the Leupold Mark AR though. I try to by American when ever possible. But thats just me.

Not cheap, but the Ultradot line has a lifetime warranty and few options to choose from in there line. I have one on my Buckmark and it is nice. They run from $135 and up depending on model and are made in Japan not China. You get what you pay for in scopes most times. Good luck on your search. Coop204

Re: Cheap Red/Green/Dot sight
I have an Aimshot HG-M2 (NOT Aimpoint) That I got for about $100. I've never used it on a gun, but the quality is ok for $100. It has multiple reticles, but I think between each you'd probably have to re-zero. I'd pick one and stick with it.
As far as handling recoil, the reviews I've read on it say it does a decent job. I originally bought it for my AR, but the I found a Bushnell/Eotech for cheap and bought that also, and that's what I use. I thought about putting my Aimshot on my AK, but not sure if I will.
I think it's worth a look, but there are defiantly better options out there.

Watch out for the bushnell elites, they look attractive, have a green and red crosshair, but mine stopped working after 4 mags on an AR.
At least amazon refunded my money no problem.
