Default Wachovia Center, Flyers game, Suite entrance, anybody been?

    Hey guys,
Lucked my way into some Suite level tickets for the game friday and was wondering if anyone knows what the security is like at that entrance, near H Lot. Went to the same game last year and there wasn't even a wanding (cause, you know, rich people aren't dangerous ) but I want to make sure all is the same this year. Thanks a bunch!

I went to two games earlier this season. At the "Normal people entrance" they give such a half-assed wanding, haven't brought my gun, but I've brought my EDC knife and the wand never beeps. If you carry it I highly doubt you'll get caught, especially at the suite entrance.

They wand at all of the entrances, but like others have said, not very thoroughly. I have known of people carrying in and they have not had any problems. Not suggesting you should do it.

I realize this is an old thread. But a few years ago I did some contract work at a Flyers game and used the employee/ player entrance. Zero security. In fact, I was there when the players were leaving within feet of them and the Jersey Devils with my 1911. I felt like I was breaking a rule lol.

Had a similar experience at The Spectrum in October 2010 while Pearl Jam was doing the final shows there, I walked right down the tunnel with a guitar in one hand and was never stopped until I found my buddy and got my backstage.

    Security my foot.

When I went to the flyers in December, I went through a back entrance (on the other side of the building from broad street, I think it was like a direct entrance to some sort of restaurant) that they don't wand at all, just a turnstyle and a person with ticket scanner.

But yes, the wanding you get at the front entrance is half-assed at best.
