Well, Jeannie and I went to a gun show in Philly today ...... she bought my Christmas present there .... a Sturm Ruger Speed Six 357 magnum.
Can't wait until Christmas now ......

I looked up the serial number on Ruger's web site, it was manufactured in late 1985, it's in fantastic condition for a 22 year old gun, one minor spot, maybe rust, on the back of the grip area. Any suggestions on treating that?
I know you can't tell a lot from these photo's & I haven't shot it yet, but how much do you guys thinks it's worth? It's my first wheel gun in a long long time.

You should have seen when SHE shot my Security Six. I know this gun is for her, now just go get her a good holster for it
Dont sweat the spot, it will wear off fast enough once you shoot, use the leaded rag to rub it down, that is one of the best way to replenish the blue on those.
