i went to walmart this morning to do some christmas shopping for my fiance and figured what the hell i'll cc today(ruger sr9 fobus paddle holster(waiting for my serpa to come in). got dressed, wore a hoddie that just reached the tip of the barrel. surprisingly i was not uncomfortable driving at all with it on. went in did a quick glance at the doors to see if i saw any signs that say no firearms(saw nothing) and went on about my buisness doing my christmas shopping. occasionally i did notice i would feel with my finger tips to see if i was printing. but wasnt really worried about it.

overall it was pretty uneventful, walmart, bank, grocery store.

Very good that you trip was uneventfully. Just a side note, being vigilante is great being hyper vigilante will attract attention.

subject 1- male open carrying a firearm carrying himself with confidence and going about his day

subject 2.- male casual carry with hoody, walking around checking for signs and for everyones reactions while checking his sidearm.

I bet #2 gets harassed first. Not saying your doing it just carefull not to put off the creepy suicide bomber vibe


side note, I have a friend that get harrassed everytime he goes in walmart oc to the point they want even sale him ammo after dark. I go there all the time and have even purchased ammo after 10pm and nothing.

let me clarify..i didnt stare at the doors for an hour looking and reading each sign. just glanced as i was walking in. although i must say walmart needs a better return policy ; )

Weren't you CC as well? Even if the end of the barrel was showing most people wouldn't notice or come to the conclusion that it was a firearm. People have cell phones, knives, you name it on their belts these days.

^ LOL.....we dont have a nacho station but we do have a subway so i stopped there instead...didnt pick up a action movie..but shutter island(good movie) and funny enough i had to get milk
