Philadelphia armory gun show tomorrow and sunday
Does anyone know how much admission is?
Is there supposed to be a good selection?
I don't have a PA I.D. yet will my jersey I.D. suffice for handling guns?
Sadly I won't be able to make any purchases at this outing, but I did find out that I may be able to purchase within the next 3-4 months as opposed to 10 if I can get my PA residency sooner. So I'm interested in attending and getting to handle a couple firearms to see how I like them. I intend to scope out all the dealers and try to find out who offers the best deals for future reference.
Will most tables allow me to handle the merchandise even if I don't intend to buy immediately?

I'm sorry for posting so many questions but this will be my first gun show ever so I know NOTHING about what it will be like. So please take it easy on me .

You might want to check this thread http://www.pafoa.org/forum/gun-shows...-gun-show.html since it seems as though the date has changed. I also noted that there is a link to the promoter's site on the second page, that will probably have cost information.

I've read that thread. The date was changed to tomorrow and sunday and the promoters website says nothing about admission.

Last time i went it was around $7 I think.
They don't ask for id for handling firearms at gunshows I've been to.

Re: Philadelphia armory gun show tomorrow and sunday
The last time I was there a few months ago, I think it was $8.
It doesn't matter the kind of ID you have just to go in. Purchasing is a different matter, and you seem to already know that.
The NG Armory show isn't that big, and it's been crowded with a lot of non gun stuff.
Ask before handling, be polite and all that stuff, even if you know the prices are outrageous, and thank them for their time. Some dealers will let you pull triggers, but some might not, maybe you can bring along snap caps to make them feel better. I don't let the slide slam back either, that is just my preference for me, and if I were a dealer, I'd ask the customer to not do it as well. Some of them might be this way.
When you finally do get around to living in a free state (hopefully it will remain so), and decide to buy at a gun show, there's no harm in bargaining, the worst they can say is no.

Re: Philadelphia armory gun show tomorrow and sunday
Moved back to PA a couple of years ago. Went to an Allentown gun show last year looking for private sale "bargains". There were none. 100% over priced dealer tables. And a couple of private sale guys with nothing I was looking for. So as for "bargains" and private sales! Philadelphia armory gun show... Worth the trip or save the gas and go straight to Cabela's?
