Re: Springfield XD9 Tactical concealed carry holster?
I like this one, but my barrel's only a 4". Maybe someone else will chime in that carries a 5" bbl. There are also multiple threads about these. http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/Ho...%2cProductName

Re: Springfield XD9 Tactical concealed carry holster?
ok thanks ill look into it, their site says it should work for the 5" too so maybe ill give it a go, and i only started this thread to see if anyone had a holster they specifically used for the XD9 , i did do a thread search, and read a few on different holsters, but im unsure about the IWB holsters, are they good to use, or is it uncomfortable to have the gun INside your waist?

I have a Crossbreed holster for my XD45 Tactical (5") and it works great.

Re: Springfield XD9 Tactical concealed carry holster?
I had to go up an inch in waist size. If you like the butt of the gun to stay close and not snag things on the way by, this one works great. Works well semi-Open Carry too. As far as concealment goes, cover shirt or loose un-tucked T-shirt works for me.
After the initial break in period, my guess is it won't bother you at all.
Thanks, sksmith75!

Love my Crossbreed Supertuck. Carry a full size XD9 daily in it. Comfortable. Conceals well.

Re: Springfield XD9 Tactical concealed carry holster?
They are expensive as hell, and the wait time is 12-13 weeks, but the Raven Concealment holster I have for my XD is second to none if you like carrying OWB.

I know you're up north but if you ever get near Harrisburg I'd let you try some of my XD holsters out.
I also really like the Galco Hi Ride Silhouette. If your looking for a shoulder holster the Glaco models are nice, but they aren't cheap. Then again, you get what you pay for.Last edited by rwb1500; November 15th, 2010 at 02:42 AM.
