Maybe that was a different document from a couple years back when they tried to push several of their new "laws" down Philly residents throats??

There was a statement in the PPD's "suggestions" to LTCF holders regarding leaving firearms in a trunk. I started a thread on this same topic back in January, and the following language was included in the PPD's document (quoted verbatim, emphasis not mine):

"Under no Circumstance should you store your weapon in a vehicle (trunk or otherwise). If your weapon is lost or stolen because of the weapon being left in a vehicle, this will result in the immediate revocation of your license to carry."

The document is no longer available at the PPD's website, and the versions available through the Internet Archive don't include that statement. I know it was there, and I quoted it exactly as it was spelled out in the Commissioner's letter to LTCF holders.
