    Default Sporting Clays

As some of you may know....Starveiw Sportsmen Association (Mt. Wolf) has Sporting Clays Shooting open to the public every Sunday. Some things are changing at the club (for the better) and we are in need of people who may be interested in helping the club (members and Non-members) with Sporting Clays activities. Starview has held clay target shooting open to the public for more than 20 years and we are just looking for some people that can assist in general.
If you shoot Sporting Clays or even if you just have the desire to help out a club that supports the sport, please come out to our organizational meeting on Thursday November 18th @6:30pm.

Any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Is there still a waiting period to join ?, website states that there are
roughly a hundred people on the waiting list. I know you can come on
Sunday, that is open to the public. There are other clubs in my area
for Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays. I would rather join an organization
and be a member, to commit my time and energy to the activity. Your
club is closer to my residence, so how long of a wait is it to become a
    member?

There is a waiting list for membership and the time on the list varies. Currently the membership is at 1250 members (Not including 'life members'). Those members have until Feb 1st to pay their dues. On that date it is then determined how many openings there are by how many people of the 1250 members have not paid their dues. Then they work their way down the waiting list until all those spots are filled. I believe that if you were to get your name on the waiting list now, you would be able to become a member next January (2012) so the wait would be just over a year. I would be more than happy to sponsor anyone wishing to become a member and give you a tour of our property. I like to think that we have an outstanding membership and a very good club with lots of 'member benefits'. Our shooting ranges are safe and clean and our clubhouse is always stocked with people wanting to 'shoot the bull'.
The club is open to the public on Sundays for Sporting Clays shooting. Currently it is $11 to shoot a round of 50 targets. Targets change every week, but we may be switching that up with the upcomming reorganization meeting.
I really encourage anyone who has the interest to come out and shoot on Sundays and if you would like.....Please come out to the meeting on Thurs, Nov 18th at 630pm. We are just trying to reorganize our sporting clays committee and making things simple and fun.

Please feel free to contact me!

Just a reminder that the meeting for the reorganization of the Sporting Clays Committee @ Starview Sportsmen is tonite. I hope that some of you can attend. You DO NOT need to be a member to help out....just have a willing heart/schedule.

Any questions please feel free to contact me.
