10/22 slings ?

can i put a sling on the ruger 10/22 ? if so how,,,dont see any sling swivels,,,

You'll need to install sling swivel studs.

You need to install swivels, you can purchase them most any gun shop or store

They make sling swivels specifically for the 10/22. The front swivel attaches to the barrel clamp (stock 10/22), the rear must be drilled and screwed into the butt stock. Decide what sling width you want before you buy the swivels.

thats what im looking for the detachables,,my ruger stock is the all black synthetic stock,,feel uncomfortable drilling holes in it,,

Not all the stock 10/22's have the barrel band, and many people remove them and find better performance without it.

I have been looking for an appropriate size, but havent hit many places other than the net and wallyworld (which has a nice assortment for shotguns, but not for a 10/22)

I just dont want to have too biig of a screw chew up what it shouldnt.
