The squib rod we got had a large end to hit on. Hopefully I can find the place we got them.

Also, I have a big problem with your choice of beverage. Dr Pepper has sugar and could cause your trigger finger to twitch!!!!

Thanks for the reminder on the target hammer. Our hangdun range now has no target frames and I'll be making a stand. Once made, I might need to hammer it in. Although, I like the PVC stands and since it's handgun, I think I'm able to keep from shooting that legs out from under it!

The club to which I belong passed a range rule the other summer: "Firing from the marked firing line only". The target stands are at the 25 yard line, so I get "furring strips" from Lowe's, like $3.00 for six, I cut them in two, and rip them lengthwise, point the ends, and have 24 target stakes. (THAT is what the 3-lb hammer is for). I drive them in the ground at random distances and staple paper plates on them. Sometimes, they last more than one range session.

I've got most of the basics in mine.
    A few small targets
    Staple Gun and Extra Staples
Glock Mag Loader (I never even use it)
    Cleaning Kit
    Cleaner, Solvent, and Lube
    100' Tape Measure
Spare Holsters (My range bag doubles as my storage bag)

But the most important of all, a pouch of Redman chewing tobacco. My wife doesn't allow me to chew. I know my range bag is the one place she'll never, ever look.

I usually carry masking tape (to cover holes and re shot target), rawhide Rod (to knock out squip loads just in case, I reoad), magic marker (I draw 8 targets on the large sheet target I buy and mark groups), Eye goggles, Ear muff. leather gloves, small mallet, Uncle mike holster, Wd40, and a universal hoster, various ammo and guns.
