Tom Corbett responds to PAFOA Members Questions
In case you guys missed this:
PAFOA does not issue endorsements, however our members did submit questions that we passed along to both gubernatorial candidates on the ballot in November to find out more about their views on various issues that gun owners face right now.
Only one candidate responded. This alone should speak volumes about the respect that any candidate will show to you as a constituent – let alone tens of thousands of constituents active with PAFOA.
Attorney General Tom Corbett took the time to respond to concerns about future legislative attacks, real crime policy concerns facing Pennsylvanians, and what he has done in his previous experience to support our Second Amendment rights.Last edited by doug; October 30th, 2010 at 08:25 PM. Re: Tom Corbett responds to PAFOA Members Questions
Perhaps during the next gubernatorial election cycle, we could have this in order earlier, so all primary candidates could respond before the primary election, including any third party candidates that get on either the primary or general election ballots.

Doug, where you been?
I saw you at the bottom of the screen under "Currently Active Users" and for a couple seconds I was thinking, "Who TF is this guy?"
LOL, sorry, but that's what you get.

Re: Tom Corbett responds to PAFOA Members Questions
agreed...we sent all the candidates a questionnaire on parevolution.com to fill out and Tom Corbett didn't have the time or have the decency to fill it out and return it...I guess he thought the site was a slouch in terms of traffic.
did you expect Dan Onorato to have a gun table at a gun show?Peace, Prosperity, and Liberty

Re: Tom Corbett responds to PAFOA Members Questions
Corbett already filled one out for the FOAC... in fact I think he may be a member.. may want to ask one of the officers on the State E board.
I expected some others running for office to have tables... maybe a third party candidate...
All I saw were Corbett(who showed up), Gerlach (who showed up), Toomy, and Meehan.
And is was funny... because questions kept popping up about third party candidates and yet they did not have a table to offer communication to 2A people. This may be an idea for the next election to have a table to interact with gun owners.

Re: Tom Corbett responds to PAFOA Members Questions
Thank you!
Dear XXX,
Thank you Pennsylvania for this great opportunity to lead our state as your next Governor. We will achieve our common goal of making Pennsylvania a leader again, a leader in business growth, agriculture, job creation, transportation, energy production and education.
We are going to work together to get Pennsylvania back on track and put the people of this great state first.
Tonight I will make you one promise, Jim Cawley and I will govern this great state to the best of our ability and please know that every decision we make will be based on what is in the best interest of you, the hardworking men and women who call Pennsylvania home and our children and grandchildren who are our future.
We now move to the next phase, beginning the process of rebuilding Pennsylvania. We will work to reduce the tax burden on Pennsylvania families and employers. Make meaningful regulatory and legal reform to fix our economic climate. Put together a budget that is on time and cuts waste and abuse. And reform our government to make it work for the people of Pennsylvania. We can rebuild Pennsylvania … and we will do it together!
Thank you all again for your support, for your trust and faith, and for your belief in a Pennsylvania that is number one. It is time now to come together to tell the rest of the world that Pennsylvania is once again open for business.
Sincerely,
Tom
