    Default Glock mags

For the glock 17, is there a magazine available that holds a few more than 20 rounds? Im not really interested in having 33 rounds and think that that mag is too long to be practical. But maybe some like 22 or 23 rounds would be appropriate. I've only ever heard of 17, 19, and 33 rounders.

    Thats it.

    17 flush fit.

19 using the Plus two extender.

    31 extended mag.

33 extended mag with the plus two on it.

Wasn't/isn't there a +5 extender too? IMO, anything more than a +2 might make feeding problematic since the mag spring is much weakened towards the end.

I think there is an after market kit that is a plus 5 unit. It comes with the extension and the magazine spring. I wouldnt trust one unless it was made by Glock for Glock.

The G17 with a Glock plus 2 extender + one in the pipe gives you 20 rounds in the gun. That's almost crazy compared to many guns on the market. If you need more than 20 rounds in the gun, go straight to the 33 round mags. They are very reliable and a lot of fun to use.

This is what I use for my backup mag...only as the backup though cause it makes draw from the holster difficult.
