    I don't think the hole's big enough.

But seriously, is there some reason you keep it under your pillow, as opposed to on your nightstand or in your nightstand drawer?

    I don't.

I'm apparently one of those people who flails around a lot when I sleep, which can result in rather unpleasant (albeit unintentional) knee or elbow induced injuries to "sleeping" partners.

While I doubt that I have the dexterity in my sleep to operate a firearm, I think it's best not to take the chance. It's difficult enough to get a lady friend to make a return visit after she's woken up by an indiscriminate elbow...I don't need to make it any worse.

...so many opportunies for innuendo ridden one liners here...

that is a good idea, but it leaves the gun out in the open. ok after looking at it a little better i think it will hold a big gun with acc.

Not right under the Pillow, but right on the nightstand within arms reach. Under the pillow would be too uncomfortable for me personally.

every time i was in the field in boot camp or MCT we had an M16 in our sack... not loaded of course...

mine stays loaded to max in the night stand. its safe there, and the alarm on the house will let us know if anyone is coming in.
